A 10-week squad in Leederville that trains the body as well as the golf. Small group, one coach, run by a TPI-certified sports chiropractor. Your child gets stronger, faster and more mobile — and they have a lot of fun doing it with kids their own age.
90 minutes · gym floor and hitting bays
Movement games that get hips, back and shoulders ready.
Races, ladders and hurdle challenges. Who's got the quickest feet?
Bodyweight, medicine balls, bands and light dumbbells.
Longest drive, closest-to-the-pin and famous-hole challenges on Trackman.
Every session ends with a team game, and bragging rights are on the line.
The same tests in week 1 and again in week 10, so any change is a real comparison rather than a feeling.
Power, speed, how well they move, and their ball striking on Trackman.
A short summary at the end of the term showing exactly what improved.
Every session is built on the Titleist Performance Institute’s junior curriculum — the same organisation that certifies the fitness and medical staff behind most tour players. Steve holds TPI Level 3 in Medical, Fitness and Power, is Australia’s highest-qualified TPI medical and fitness instructor, a published researcher in golf injuries, and a current chiropractor on the PGA Tour of Australasia.
It means a coach who knows when to push your child and when to ease off, and who can look after them if something’s sore.

No. The squad is for 12–17 year olds at any level, from a complete beginner to one playing pennants. The gym half suits everyone; the bay half is set up as stations, so each kid works at their own level.
Yes. The program is delivered by a registered chiropractor, so the term fee can be claimed against your family’s extras cover. What you get back depends on your fund and how much of your annual limit is left. You’ll get a receipt with the right item numbers.
No. They’re welcome to bring their own and most do — but we keep a set of US Kids clubs at the studio, fitted to their size, that any junior can use at no cost.
Comfortable gym clothes and trainers, and a water bottle. That’s it — everything else is here.
They don’t need any. Week 1 teaches every movement from scratch and works out the right starting weight for each child. Nothing is loaded until the movement looks right.
Heavy lifting would be. This isn’t that. We never test a maximum lift, weights stay at a level they can do well for 8–15 reps, and nothing goes overhead or across the back while they’re still growing. Medicine balls, bands, kettlebells and dumbbells do the work.
We check their growth every term. If a child has grown quickly, we hold the weights where they are and do less jumping for a few weeks. It’s temporary, it’s normal, and it’s one of the best ways to keep a growing golfer playing all season.
Free parking directly out the front, and free street parking around Oxford Street if the front is full. Drop-off at the door is easy.
Nothing is charged when you fill in the form. Steve confirms the place first, then emails you a payment link directly.
Yes — 10% off for a second child from the same family. Mention it in the form and it’s applied to the payment link.
No — the two programs run at the same time on the same afternoon. Pick the one that fits: the Junior Squad if you want golf and gym together, the Elite Pathway if your child already has a golf coach and wants gym work built purely for distance and durability.
90 minutes a week for $25 a session. That’s $250 for the term.
Fill this in and Dr Steve will come back to you within a couple of days to confirm a place and answer anything you want to ask first.
Every athlete is measured in week 1 — that’s part of the term, not an extra cost.
